Amidst the crackling flames ('Ao Lume'), stories come to life, yet the fire also serves for cooking. The stories I share in this blog have a history and a future. The history was passed down to me by my grandmothers while the future is been written for my grandchildren. All of this cross generational stories are meant to be told sitting by the fire on that old wooden bench while cooking.
But, don't forget to keep stirring the embers and remember, every now and then, we've got to check on the pot and give it some love.
